Hair Transplant

Hair Transplant (4-8 Hours)

Hair transplantation is one of the most applied aesthetic applications today. Although it is known as a procedure performed only for men and the public, hair transplantation can be performed on both men and women. Hair transplantation process in simple way; It is the process of placing grafts (hair follicles) taken from the nape area (donor area) between the two ears, as a result of detailed planning, to areas with gaps or weakening.

While hair transplantation can be planned to close the areas with complete openings, it can also be planned for people whose hairline has been pulled back due to aesthetic concerns. It is a painless method. It can be done using local anesthesia or sedation. After the procedure, the person is discharged on the same day and can easily return to his/her life. The most important thing to consider in hair transplantation is what causes hair loss. The priority for the spills due to hormonal reasons that can be corrected periodically or due to stress is to determine the factors that cause the shedding. Supportive treatments should be preferred for such spills. Hair transplantation should be a preferred method as a result of genetic reasons or irreversible hair loss.

Hair transplantation is done with two techniques. The first technique is the FUT technique and it is no longer preferred or recommended under today’s technology conditions. The second technique is the FUE technique. Fue technique supports the aesthetic appearance and is the most preferred hair transplant method due to its more natural results, because the tissue around the hair follicle is removed with micro-level punches, so it does not leave any traces in the donor area.

FUE Technique

The FUE technique is the process of collecting/removing the grafts (hair follicles) in the donor area (the nape between the two ears) with the help of special equipment without damaging the tissue integrity and without damaging it. In this technique, no scars are left in the donor area. The intake system with the Fue technique is the most common method currently preferred in the world.

Sapphire Canal Hair Transplantation

Sapphire canal hair transplantation method is the process of placing the grafts taken with the Fue technique into the channels opened with special sapphire-tipped cutting equipment. Sapphire tipped equipments have various thicknesses, and in this way, it is possible to choose the appropriate thickness and length of the equipment for the structure of the hair. This increases the chance of achieving natural results, which is the first priority in the planning of the planting process. The channels opened with the sapphire channel method show rapid healing and do not damage the tissues.

The chance to ‘shape the hair’ in the design and planning phase before transplantation is again achieved thanks to the channels opened with the sapphire technique. The roots taken with the Fue technique allow easier and more successful transplantation, thanks to the Sapphire incisions opened by the specialist who performs the procedure, while they are in the planting stage, without damaging the tissue.

DHI Hair Transplantation

DHI hair transplantation method is the process of placing the grafts taken with the Fue technique into the area planned to be transplanted/closed with the help of piercing and different-tipped equipment. This method is preferred in terms of not damaging the hair follicles in the area to be transplanted/covered. With this technique, if you have a sufficient number of grafts, a more frequent planting chance is obtained.

If there are sparsely distributed hair follicles in the opening in the area to be applied, more positive results can be obtained with the DHI method. In the DHI method, the channel is not opened beforehand, as in the sapphire method. Locating and placing the grafts takes place simultaneously. The DHI method is briefly both grooving and seeding at the same time. The DHI method is the most preferred method in unshaven sowing. The reason for the emergence of the DHI method is that the procedures to be applied to local areas, which are considered small, are more comfortable.

FUT Technique

FUT technique is the first transplantation method used in the first years of hair transplantation, which is no longer preferred in hair transplantation and is considered the father of new techniques. In this technique, it is the process of taking 2-3 cm wide tissue from the donor area (neck area between the two ears). Due to the removed tissues, it is not preferred today because it leaves a permanent mark on the donor area after the procedure. Although rare, the Fut technique can be used for hair follicles that cannot be removed with the FUE technique due to the genetically curled structure of the hair follicles under the tissue, mostly black people.
